Day 4 of the 2024 Olympics is packed with action.

The U.S. women’s basketball 3-on-3 team, featuring Rhyne Howard, Dearica Hamby and Hailey Van Lith, begins its quest for second straight Olympic gold medal when it clashes with Germany at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Event to watch: 3-on-3 Basketball – Day 4

Imagine basketball on a smaller court, with half the players but triple the chaos.

Both teams, consisting of three players each, attack and defend the same hoop. The winner is the first team to score 21 points, or the team with the highest score in 10 minutes.

The USA women’s squad took home the gold in 2021 – the first Olympic iteration of the event.
