Dave Grohl’s friendliness towards the opposite sex has allegedly been an issue in his marriage for years — way before he admitted to cheating on his wife and welcoming a baby with another woman.
The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, made the shocking announcement last week, in which he dropped the bombshell that he had strayed in his 21-year marriage with Jordyn Blum and impregnated a mystery woman, who recently gave birth to his fourth daughter.
While Grohl said he’d do everything to win his wife and children’s trust back, sources spilled that his “flirty behavior” was already a point of contention in his relationship.
Jordyn was allegedly “shocked when she found out about the baby,” an insider told People on Monday, adding, “Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her” following the news.
But their marriage hasn’t been picture-perfect.
“Dave’s flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage. It’s been hurtful to Jordyn,” the source alleged.
And while fans and Jordyn were surprised about the baby bombshell, the couple’s inner circle wasn’t necessarily shocked.
“We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the ‘good guy,’ the rockstar that didn’t have to do those rockstar things,” the insider with knowledge of the situation told People. “And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side.”

The “Times Like These” singer dropped the double shocker in a lengthy statement on Tuesday, September 10.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl shared via Instagram. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” he concluded.
Grohl married Jordyn, a former model, in August 2003. The pair share three kids: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
The rocker reportedly retained a divorce attorney before coming clean about the infidelity that produced a child.
Signs pointing to possible trouble in paradise between Grohl and Jordyn were apparent in recent months. She was spotted without her wedding ring in August — just weeks before his public confession; however, they were together at the Wimbledon tennis championships on July 2.
The Foo Fighter frontman’s announcement did not disclose additional details about the baby or the woman he cheated with — but one person posted a photo of an infant, claiming the child was his. Grohl’s rep later addressed the accusations, calling the now-deleted post fake.
“My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life,” the photo was captioned. “Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role. Your daddy was by my side through the entire pregnancy, making sure we were both taken care of, and I’m so grateful for his love and support.”
