Jill Biden, who is 71 years old and has had all four recommended doses of vaccination, double-vaccinated and boosted twice, tested positive for Covid 19, her office announced on Tuesday.

The diagnosis was made after her husband, former Vice President Joe Biden, recently tested positive for COVID-19 on two separate occasions after having a rebound effect after taking Paxlovid pills.

It can be recalled that quadruple-vaccinated Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 twice.

“Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again. This happens with a small minority of folks. I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me. I’m still at work, and will be back on the road soon,” Biden wrote on Twitter.

The 71-year-old first lady “began to have cold-like symptoms” late Monday night, and her office said she tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday despite being quadruple-vaccinated.

“The First Lady is double-vaccinated, twice boosted, and only experiencing mild symptoms,” her communications director, Elizabeth Alexander, said in a statement. “She has been prescribed a course of Paxlovid and, following CDC guidance, will isolate from others for at least five days.”

The Bidens are currently vacationing at a $20 million beachfront property in South Carolina while Americans suffer from high inflation rates.

“She is currently staying at a private residence in South Carolina and will return home after she receives two consecutive negative Covid tests,” Alexander added.

Jill Biden on Sunday was spotted shopping wearing a tacky dress with Hunter Biden’s wife Melissa Cohen in Kiawah Island Beach.

Joe Biden continues to test negative for Covid-19, according to his press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

“The President tested negative for COVID this morning on an antigen test,” Pierre wrote.

“Consistent with CDC guidance because he is a close contact of the First Lady, he will mask for 10 days when indoors and in close proximity to others. We will also increase the President’s testing cadence and report those results,” she added.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
