No one seemed to be looking for Elijah Moore on Sunday and it appeared to upset the Jets receiver.

During the Jets’ 27-10 statement win over the Packers at Lambeau Field, the second-year wideout recorded zero targets. Moore took to Twitter to express his frustration after a Jets beat writer brought up the stat.

“If I say what I really wanna say… I’ll be the selfish guy… we winning,” Moore wrote. “Grateful! Huge blessing! All I ever wanted. Butter sweet for me em but I’ll be solid. So I’ll just stay quiet. Just know I don’t understand either.”

Moore later expressed his complete support for all of his teammates.

“Everyone rocking out neeeeds to keeep rocking out dats part of why we winning,” Moore wrote. “Don’t get it confused either.”

Moore, who was a second-round pick in 2021, was expected to have a bigger impact this season, but in six games he has recorded just 16 receptions for 203 yards on 29 targets despite the Jets now being 4-2. Moore, who had five touchdown last season, has yet to find the end zone in 2022 and had just one catch against the Dolphins last week. During his strong rookie campaign, Moore played 11 games and recorded 43 receptions on 538 yards.

Instead, fellow wideouts Corey Davis and Garrett Wilson have picked up the bulk of the receiving workload along with tight end Tyler Conklin.
