This gyrating mama just hit the motherlode on social media drama.

Utah mom Whitney Leavitt is at the center of a digital divide after sharing a now-viral video of herself participating in a TikTok dance challenge while in a hospital room next to her newborn, ailing son. The infant was reportedly recently diagnosed with a respiratory syncytial virus, which rendered him unable to breathe on his own.

In her clip, which has amassed over 518,000 views on Twitter, Leavitt is cutting a rug to rapper Kendrick Lamar’s hit single “Love” while Liam, born earlier this month, lays in a hospital crib with breathing tubes strapped to his face.

“Lil Lee was taken [to the hospital] cause of low oxygen,” Leavitt, 28, wrote in a caption for her since-deleted post.

“He tested positive for RSV,” the mom of two penned atop of her boogying bite. “Waiting for him to breathe better on his own,” she added alongside a red emoji heart.

And while Leavitt didn’t miss a beat of her choreography, some Twitter mud-slingers are digitally beating her up for what they see as questionable behavior during Liam’s health crisis.

“Baby in hospital very sick. Mom makes tik tok video dancing next to baby. This generation should not reproduce,” one critic cracked. “The baby [is going to] grow up & be like “I was fighting for my life & you was out here making TIKTOKS?” joked another.

However, a handful of supporters backed Leavitt, noting her video’s lighthearted and uplifting undertones.

Leavitt supporters argued that she has every right to express herself through dance while she awaits her son's recovery.

“A lot of y’all moms ain’t passing the vibe check on that video going around of the young mother dancing next to her baby in the hospital,” an online ally wrote. “You don’t get to judge someone who has probably not had a shower or any sleep in over 24 hours. Someone who is clearly stressed and manic.”

One woman even admitted to shaking her own groove thing for TikTok during her mother’s stint in a medical facility.

“I can’t judge her [because] one time I filmed a dancing TikTok with my mom in the hospital bed behind me in full view,” she confessed.

Leavitt ultimately removed the controversial clip from her TikTok account and replaced it with a tearful video — which topped 393,000 views — explaining the impetus behind her trending infamy.

“I understand that people are upset with the video that I made,” she said weeping in footage shared to social media Sunday.

“I just want to be clear and communicate that that was me just trying to be positive. I think it’s important to not just assume what someone is going through,” Leavitt advised from a hospital room. “Anyways, I took the video down because I could see where somebody could get the wrong idea. But that honestly was just me just trying to be positive in this situation.”

She went on to thank her defenders for their kindness.

“I do want to say thank you for people who have reached out to me and my family,” she said crying. “I just really appreciate it.”
