Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin have united to release a statement criticising Australia’s nuclear submarine agreement with the United States and United Kingdom, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
“We saw last June a G7-plus group, including Australia, meet in Cornwall in a show of strength from liberal democracies,” Mr Clennell said.
“Well, here is something of a reply from Russia and China.”
