Gang Green will cover spread

The Jets are coming off an emotional roller coaster of a game Monday night, when they beat the Bills in dramatic fashion, but lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to an Achilles injury.

After all that, Gang Green must now regroup and face the Cowboys on the road.

The last time we saw Dallas they were embarrassing New York’s other team and rudely treating right tackle Evan Neal like a human turnstile.

The Cowboys’ dominated the Giants in every phase of that game, but the Jets could provide a tougher test.

As good as Dallas’ defense looked in the opener, the Jets are pretty good on defense in their own right.

The line movement in this game is bananas.

The Cowboys were -3 heading into Monday, but after Rodgers’ injury the line moved six points.

That seems a bit much to me.

Yes, Gang Green are replacing Rodgers with Zach Wilson, but I make the Cowboys -7 in this matchup, so there is some value with the underdog.

I see this being a lower-scoring, defensive slugfest.

It’s not easy to win by double-digits in those types of games.

The Jets’ defense is still good enough to keep them in most games if Wilson doesn’t turn the ball over.

Betting on the NFL?

Expect to see a lot of run, run, short pass, punt from the Jets on Sunday.

The Cowboys looked like world beaters in Week 1, but some of that had to do with the Giants never getting off the bus.

Look for Gang Green to stay within this inflated line.

The play: Jets +8.5
