Ayesha Curry is “so proud” of All-Star husband Steph Curry.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday night, the wife of the Warriors superstar, 33, congratulated him for being named to the NBA’s Top 75, as well as the MVP of the All-Star Game in Cleveland.
“Look at my baby!” Ayesha gushed. “@NBA top 75 and tonight’s #KiaAllStarMVP. So proud of you @stephencurry30.”
In the post shared with her 7.4 million followers, Steph is seen smiling after being introduced as part of the league’s 75th-anniversary team, which recognizes the 75 greatest players to ever hit the court.
Steph then put on a legendary performance Sunday night, recording a whopping 50 points to help lead Team LeBron to a 163-160 win. He was then awarded the Kobe Bryant MVP trophy, which was renamed after the late Lakers icon.
“Obviously, the [MVP] trophy has a very special meaning, honoring Kobe and [his daughter] Gigi and everybody that was lost two years ago. Very humbled, very blessed, and I really appreciate it,” Steph said.
Steph, an eight-time All-Star, also recorded 16 3-pointers, the most in any All-Star Game.
“Come on, man, this guy is from a different planet,’ James said of All-Star teammate Curry. “He literally has an automatic sniper attached to his arm and when he lets it go, everybody … is thinking it’s going in every time.
“To be out there and watch that [other] kid from Akron shoot the ball the way he shot it, it was unbelievable”
Like James, Curry also hails from Ohio, where his father Dell played for the Cavaliers during the 1987-88 season.
Curry and the Warriors will return to the court Thursday when they visit the Trail Blazers.
