Omid Scobie’s bombshell new book has been likened to a “grenade being thrown into the middle of the royal family,” according to the late Princess Diana’s former butler.

Paul Burrell, who worked for Diana for over 10 years until her sudden death in 1997, said Scobie’s book has had a damaging effect on the royals.

Last week, the Dutch translation of Scobie’s explosive tell-all biography, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival,” named the alleged royals who made a “racist” remark about the Sussexes’ son Archie.

The book unmasked King Charles and Kate Middleton as the alleged royals who questioned Archie’s skin color.

“How dare [Scobie] criticize a girl that has given up her life, a woman who has dedicated herself to the service of her country, how dare he pull the rug from underneath her feet,” Burrell said of the Princess of Wales.

Omid Scobie’s bombshell new book has been likened to a “grenade being thrown into the middle of the royal family,” according to the late Princess Diana’s former butler.

“Kate has never put a foot wrong and the sadness is that she doesn’t have a voice to answer back, she has to take it and there are people out there who will believe this rubbish.”

“As far as I’m concerned it’s a grenade that has been thrown into the middle of the family and it has casualties and Kate is one of them, despite doing nothing wrong. I am furious that he has attacked Kate,” he continued.

“I think this is tragic, it’s unbelievable that he can get away with it and the royals don’t have a right to reply, they have to keep quiet and they have always done that.”

Elsewhere, Burrell slammed Prince Harry for having “one foot in and one foot out” of his former royal lifestyle.

“I think it’s unforgivable that Harry has grown up a prince in a royal household, given everything possible, gone to the best schools, and had the opportunities of a royal, he was taught by his father and mother what’s right and wrong, and he has flaunted all of that, it’s all thrown away,” he said.

“He is still a royal prince and has a responsibility, he should have a sense of decency towards his father and the people who are continuing on their dedicated path of serving this country and he should have respect,” he shared, adding that “it seems to me that he doesn’t care anymore.”

“Harry and Meghan’s only unique selling point is being royal and the minute they are no longer perceived in that way they will be dropped, America wants its own Prince and Princess of their own, they have got them,” he adds.

“I think Harry thinks he can have one foot in and one foot out, but his grandmother told him he had to be all in or all out.”

The royals have not responded to the allegations — or any claims made in the book — and Scobie blamed a “translation error” made by the publisher — a claim that has since been disputed by the translator.

Several experts have since urged the Sussexes to end their “deafening silence” and speak out in defense of Charles and Kate — advice they’ve decided to ignore.

What’s more, a royal expert has warned that Markle might soon be dropped by her talent agency as the furor over the book continues to unfold.
