Queen Camilla kept calm and carried on after the news of King Charles and Kate Middleton’s recent health issues surfaced.

The monarch, 75, announced on Wednesday that he would be entering the hospital next week to fix his enlarged prostate.

The Princess of Wales, 42, underwent abdominal surgery on Tuesday and will be staying at the London Clinic for up to two weeks as she recovers.

Camilla, 76, visited the Aberdeen Art Gallery in Aberdeen, Scotland, today, where she gave a health update on her husband.

“Good morning, it was quite a frosty journey. Sorry, we’re a bit late, I’m afraid,” she said at the event.

“How is His Majesty?” the Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeen Dr. David Cameron inquired.

“He’s fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work,” she replied.

The public engagement was the former Duchess of Cornwall’s first event since both news came to light.

On Wednesday, the royal family first shared a statement noting that Kate’s procedure was “successful” and would not be undertaking any outings until after Easter.

“She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible,” the memo said.

They added that they hope the public respects “her wish that her personal medical information remain private.”

The palace then noted that they will “only provide updates” on Middleton’s progress “when there is significant new information to share.”

As for Charles, Buckingham Palace revealed later that same day that he would undergo a “corrective procedure” for his swollen prostate.

His condition is benign, according to the Associated Press, adding that having an enlarged prostate is “common with thousands of men each year.”

The sovereign will take “a short period of recuperation” in order to recover and rest.

On Thursday, Kate’s husband, Prince William, was spotted visiting his spouse at the London Clinic as she recuperated.

The Prince of Wales, 41, was seen driving his Audi vehicle as he departed from the medical institution, and his bodyguards followed closely behind in their Range Rover.

Sources told The Post yesterday that William is ensuring his schedule is clear to help Kate recover and care for their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Former royal butler Grant Harold opened up to The Post and stated that the heir must now “step up” to the bat.

“It’s quite unusual to have two royals out of action, and it’s going to put more pressure on William,” Harrold said.

“I’m sure he’s feeling anxious, as you would be. However, William does cope well under stress, as I’ve seen on many occasions.”
