More details have been reported surrounding Richard Sherman’s recent DUI arrest.

The former Seattle Seahawks All-Pro-turned-pundit was arrested in King County, Wash. on Saturday on a suspicion of a DUI charge, the Washington State Patrol informed CNN, who originally broke the story.

CNN reports that Washington State Patrol initially stopped Sherman, 35, because he had been driving 79 miles per hour within a 60 mph zone around 2 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

A District Court judge found probable cause for Sherman to receive the DUI, according to a first appearance document obtained by CNN.

Sherman, an Amazon analyst for “Thursday Night Football,” admitted to drinking two margaritas before taking the wheel, the report said, upon being asked if he had consumed alcohol prior to the incident.

Additionally, the document says Sherman agreed to a voluntary test.

Per CNN, the document also reveals that Sherman’s eyes were “bloodshot and watery” and that an “odor of intoxicants” was prevalent at the scene of the incident.

A King County District Court judge is expected to have a court hearing on Monday to address the conditions of release for Sherman, whose bond has not yet been set, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Sherman was previously arrested in July 2021 over drunk driving and domestic disturbance charges after police said he crashed his car into a construction zone before trying to break into his in-laws’ home outside of Seattle.

He pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges to settle the case.

Sherman was initially selected in the fifth round in the 2011 NFL Draft, remaining with the Seahawks through 2017 before playing with the San Francisco 49ers and, finally, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his last season in 2021.

Sherman, who won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2013, was a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro.
