He may be busy thwarting assassination attempts and defending his country during wartime, but you can still spend a night cozied up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The politician — who has become an unexpected sex symbol since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine last month — now has his face featured on pillows made by Czech designer Tomas Brinek.
“Many people, mostly of the fairer sex, see him as some kind of a sex symbol, so I got the idea to make a pillow which would look like he is actually in their bed,” Brinek told Reuters this week.
The handmade products show Zelensky, 44, clad in military greens and sporting a coy smile on his face.
The fluffy pillows have become an instant hit, with more than 2,000 orders placed in recent days from fans all across the world.
Brinek is now making more batches in order to keep up with high demand.
However, the designer is not using the war to line his own pockets, with proceeds going to a charity helping Ukrainians affected by the war.
So far, more than $18,900 has been raised.
“The idea was really a bit of a joke but there is this serious side that the profits can do some good for Ukraine,” Brinek stated.
Zelensky fans have gone wild on Twitter, with many saying they were eager to purchase the pillows.
“Thank you for existing… you are a role model for politics, you are a modern Churchill,” one admirer cooed beneath a post advertising the products.
Meanwhile, some movie buffs are already theorizing who should play the Ukrainian president in a feature film about the Russia-Ukraine war.
Many have claimed Hollywood heartthrob Jeremy Renner, 51, should be cast in the lead role.
“Is it obvious to everybody else that Jeremy Renner is the only logical option to play Zelensky in the biopic screenwriters are almost certainly drafting already?” one asked on Twitter, sharing side-by-side images of the two men.
