Bonus bet wagers, while profiting cash, cannot earn the stake back. The stake returns to the house since you can only play the bonus bets once through.
All other locations
Every other FanDuel state allows new customers to sign up and place $5 on a moneyline. If the bet wins, you earn $200 in bonus bets while a missed bet doesn’t earn anything.
Let’s say I placed $10 on a -200 moneyline. Here’s how the promo plays out depending on the outcome of the bet.
- A win would profit $5, return the $10 stake and earn the $200 in bonus bets
- If the bet misses, it’s treated as a normal wager that doesn’t hit
