Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala appears to be playing peacemaker in the reported Draymond Green-Jordan Poole altercation.

Iguodala took to Twitter early Thursday to address the situation and defended both Poole and Green, who “forcefully struck” his teammate the day prior during a Warriors practice.

“What we not gone do is talk crazy about my young fella JP… great character kid… miss me with all that other bs… straight from the ‘SOURCE,’” Iguodala tweeted.

In a separate tweet, Iguodala wrote, “And it’s family business with my bro @Money23Green too…”

The Warriors were forced to stop their Wednesday practice when Green and Poole came chest-to-chest and began shoving each other during a heated altercation, according to The Athletic.

Both players had to be separated after Green reportedly punched Poole, who wasn’t hurt by the strike and finished his workout before leaving the practice floor, ESPN reported.

Green was apologetic after the altercation with Poole, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, who reported the two have a history. Furthermore, there was apparently buildup stemming from teammates noticing a change in Poole’s behavior throughout training camp, as the guard is on the verge of securing a lucrative extension.

Poole played an integral role with the Warriors while star point guard Steph Curry was injured last season. Both he and Green are up for contract extensions.

On media day last month, Green mentioned he would have to play the season out without an extension, as Golden State faces salary-cap implications with his contract.

The reigning NBA champion Warriors reportedly plan to discipline Green internally. Both players have yet to address the matter publicly.
