In their third WNBA meeting, Angel Reese finally got the better of Caitlin Clark.
Reese had her best game as a pro, dominating with 25 points and 16 rebounds while leading the Sky to a victory over the Fever in an 88-87 thriller on Sunday in Chicago.
The Sky trailed by eight entering the fourth quarter but outscored the Fever 24-15 in the frame to seal the win.
Indiana won the first two matchups between the teams this season.
Clark scored 17 points and set a franchise record with 13 assists, but she did not take a shot over the final two minutes, her final attempt coming on a missed 3-pointer with 2:19 left and the score tied 84-84.
Reese, who was called for a flagrant foul after whacking Clark in the head during their previous meeting last Sunday, shot 8-for-12 from the field and made nine of 11 free-throw attempts.
Chennedy Carter, who committed a flagrant foul with a blindside hip-check on Clark during the teams’ first meeting, scored 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting with five assists.
