Curtin University Political Analyst Joe Siracusa says US President Joe Biden left the “woke message” out of his tour to the Middle East – which alienated the progressive wing of his party.
Mr Siracusa said 90 per cent of Mr Biden’s tour was about “optics” and “to be seen”.
“The trip may have been about optics, but he’s further alienated the progressive wing at his party by failing to mention human rights,” he told Sky News Australia.
