Hero, zeros and full blitz from the Jets’ 27-6 loss to the Chargers on Monday night.

Hero

The Jets couldn’t handle Joey Bosa, the Chargers’ stud defensive end.

He had 2.5 sacks, including a forced fumble and recovery that set up a touchdown.

Zero

Zach Wilson’s season-long problems moving the offense continued.

The Jets have not scored a touchdown over the last seven quarters plus overtime, going back to the Giants game.

Wilson completed 33 of 49 passes for 263 impactless yards, and fumbled three times, two of which he lost.

He was sacked eight times.

Unsung Hero

Derius Davis set the tone for the Chargers, returning a punt 87 yards to open the scoring.

Before the game, the Jets opted to introduce punter Thomas Morstead first.

He then out-kicked the coverage on a 59-yard punt.

Key Stat

A total of one hour, 22 minutes and five seconds of game time has passed since the Jets last scored a touchdown, in the first quarter of the win against the Giants last Sunday.

Quote of the night

“When you play at this level and you play on the offensive side of the ball, if you weren’t angry, I would think something was wrong. … It is disappointing. It messes with your psyche a little bit.”

— Garrett Wilson on the offense’s struggles.
