A Christian woman is facing backlash after revealing the strict rules she and her husband have for their marriage, which include a prohibition on porn and a ban on being alone with members of the opposite sex.

Bailey McPherson — who has been married to husband Zac since 2018 — shared a video to TikTok on Saturday titled, “Rules my husband and I have for our marriage that make people ANGRY.”

The clip has been viewed more than 2 million times and is living up to its title, with many viewers outraged by the pair’s pacts.

The California-based Christian revealed her rules are: “No friends with the opposite sex,” “No being alone with the opposite sex” and “No texting the opposite sex without the other knowing.”

Additional agreements include: “No lusting after others (following scandalous pages),” “No porn,” and “Always put each other first (even over parents).”

McPherson was faced with so much criticism that she has now disabled fellow TikTokers from leaving comments beneath the video, the Independent reported. However, the publication obtained some of the critical comments before they were wiped.

“Tell me you don’t trust your partner without telling me you don’t trust your partner,” one follower reportedly wrote while others described McPherson as “insecure” and “insane.”

Meanwhile, fans have also flooded her other TikTok videos to blast the rules, with one writing: “Lmao, the fact you think these rules will keep a person faithful shows how delusional you are. A person will do what they want to do.”

However, McPherson — who is a mom of one — isn’t backing down.

In a subsequent video, McPherson defended the fact she has no male friends, stating: “I personally feel like as a married woman, I have no need for a companionship with another man that I cannot get with my husband. My husband has no need for a companionship with another woman that he cannot get from his wife.”

She also proclaimed that cutting out pornography would lead to “stronger intimacy in partnerships,” “healthier body image” and “better emotional health.”

While McPherson’s porn-ban may seem extreme, she’s not the only Christian woman to prohibit her partner from watching explicit online content.

In 2018, a Mormon woman canceled her wedding at the last minute after learning her husband-to-be had watched porn.

Meanwhile, former Second Lady Karen Pence revealed in 2017 that her husband — ex Veep Mike Pence — doesn’t dine with other women when she is not present.

The conservative politician was mocked for the habit, but one psychologist said rules in relationships are often beneficial.

“A lot of cheating episodes occur when boundaries have not been clearly set,” Fran Walfish, a relationship psychotherapist based in Beverly Hills, California, told The Post. “I think it’s excellent that Mike Pence and his wife have taken the time and care to clearly delineate boundary lines that are mutually comfortable.”
