Telsa founder Elon Musk has hit back at Elizabeth Warren’s claims he doesn’t pay taxes by calling her “Senator Karen” and declaring he will pay $11 billion (USD) in taxes this year.

Last week Senator Warren savaged Elon Musk for being named Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year.

“Let’s change the rigged tax code to the person of the year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” Ms Warren tweeted.

The Tesla founder didn’t hold back, calling her “Senator Karen” and asking the Democrat not to call the manager on him.

“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” Mr Musk tweeted.

“And if you opened your eyes for two seconds, you would realise I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year.

“Don’t spend it all at once…oh wait you did already.”

The billionaire later tweeted to this 67 million followers he will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year.

Senator Warren has since been busy buying six Facebook ads attacking Elon Musk.

The ads stretch from calling him a “thin-skilled freeloader” to claiming he “whines like a baby” to his millions of followers.

After the ads were criticised online Mr Musk called it “deeply messed up to lie to the American people” and questioned whether voters want her representing Massachusetts in the senate.
