Brendan Paul, the man who was arrested by federal agents this week and has been accused of being Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “drug mule,” is a former basketball player at Syracuse.

Paul, 25, was arrested by federal agents at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on Monday as he was seeking to board a private jet with the rapper.

Feds working with Homeland Security and Border Patrol allegedly found drugs suspected to be cocaine and marijuana edibles in Paul’s bag.

Paul played for Syracuse’s basketball team as a walk-on for two seasons before transferring to Division II Fairmont State in 2020.

He appeared in 16 total games for Syracuse in the two seasons and in 17 total minutes, recorded three points and one rebound.

In Rodney Jones’ lawsuit against Combs, Paul was alleged to be the rap mogul’s “drug mule.”

The suit claimed that Paul “acquires and distributes Mr. Combs guns and drugs.”

The drugs that Paul was arrested with this week have not been linked to Diddy.

Paul was released on $2,500 bond.

Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided this week by the Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force.

Last November, Diddy settled a lawsuit brought by his ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura that alleged sexual abuse.

Combs has also been facing other lawsuits in recent months.

In a December statement, he spoke about those other cases.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth,” he wrote on Instagram.
