These fans paid the price to watch the Chiefs beat the Dolphins on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Fire Department transported 15 individuals to area hospitals from the stadium, with seven being treated for hypothermia and three for frostbite, per KMBC.com.

The department received 69 calls for service Saturday – which includes calls from inside the stadium and the parking lot – and nearly half of the calls were for hypothermia.

Those numbers do not include walk-ins to KU Medical Center aid stations, and Arrowhead Stadium features seven first aid stations, according to KMBC.

Saturday’s wild card matchup featured Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill on the field, along with mega popstar Taylor Swift watching live with her fancy Kelce jacket, but the frigid temperatures dominated the conversation leading into and during the game.

The wild card matchup featured a kickoff temperature of minus-four degrees and temperatures dipped as low as minus-eight during Kansas City’s 26-7 win.

Saturday’s contest was the coldest in Arrowhead Stadium history, per KMBC, and the Chiefs announced it was the fourth-coldest kickoff temperature in NFL history.

The wind chill of minus-27 also marked the third-coldest kickoff wild chill in NFL history, per the Chiefs.

The conditions even left Chiefs coach Andy Reid with a frozen mustache.

Kansas City can only host another playoff game should it win on the road against the Bills on Sunday and the Texans upset the top-seeded Ravens on Saturday.

The Chiefs are 2.5-point underdogs at FanDuel against the Bills, who bested them in the regular season.

Kansas City has had Buffalo’s number in the postseason recently, eliminating the Bills in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022.

Both of those games, though, were played at Arrowhead Stadium, while this time the Bills will welcome the Chiefs to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.

The Ravens are 9.5-point favorites against the upstart Texans.
