Flowers and tributes have been left outside the Hollywood Walk of Fame as people gather to pay their respects to “America’s sweetheart” and TV legend Betty White.
It comes as Ms White died at her California home on Friday morning United States’ time – aged 99.
Sky News Australia discussed the issue with CNN reporter Camila Bernal who said so many people were in “shock” as they passed by tributes left on the Walk.
“People who are coming by to pay her respects and to honour her as the first lady of television – someone who was a staple in American entertainment for such a long time,” Ms Bernal told Sky News Australia.
“This is someone beloved by the young and he old because her career was just such a long and memorable career”.
