A wild handshake line hockey brawl included a fight one player couldn’t lose.

Following the Bangkok U18 invitational championship match between Thailand and Hong Kong — in which Thailand won 3-0 — the two teams were shaking hands when suddenly a brawl broke out.

Punches were thrown and hockey sticks were used during the brawl on ice, but one particular player decided that he was going to take the fight away from the group – against an invisible opponent.

The player wearing a No. 24 jersey saw that his teammates were getting into trouble and immediately threw off his gear and began absolutely whaling on the imaginary opponent mid-air.

At one point, 24 even decided to stand his hockey stick up as a prop to really show his loyalty to his team, giving one gigantic swing to knock it down, and hopefully to end his fight.

Twitter pulled no punches when it came to their reactions of the fight, the invisible participant and even the fact that hockey even exists in Hong Kong.

“I’ve lived in Hong Kong and I am SHOCKED to learn they have youth ice hockey? Never seen it or heard it mentioned once,” the user said. “#24 my spirit animal tho”

Another person on Twitter tried to come up with a reason for why 24 was giving it all he had like it was the final round of a heavyweight fight against the invisible opponent.

“Nobody wanted to fight him so he took matters into his own hands. He’s fighting someone, in his mind,” they said.

Another user on Twitter decided to give their analysis on 24’s skills.

“I cant tell if 24 is winning or losing, but damn I appreciate his effort level and inclusion of an oft underutilized jump jab and a jump kick (maybe?). Also think he let his opponent get back up based on the swing trajectory change, which is a rookie mistake,” the person on Twitter said.
