Things got heated in the Nationals’ dugout Friday night.

Infielder Nick Senzel and starter MacKenzie Gore went at it in the bottom of the second inning — point blank.

It appeared the two were having a heated discussion before Gore gave Senzel a big shove before the two were separated in a fiery moment.

Before the contentious exchange, Senzel had not shown his best self on the field.

The Marlins’ Nick Fortes stepped up to bat in the top of the second with runners on second and third, hitting a grounder toward third base — at Senzel.

The corner infielder took the long hop, and by the time he threw to first base, Fortes had reached and Miami had scored.

Senzel, who didn’t appear to throw the ball the hardest, might have had a chance to end the frame had he put more mustard on the throw.
