It’s hard to believe we are already in Week 10 of the NFL season, but here we are with just nine weeks left in the regular season before the playoffs begin.
I have scoured the PrizePicks lobby to come up with my four favorite DFS plays for Sunday’s games.
As always, I will make one entry in the Power Play (4-for-4 gets 10x) and one entry in the Flex Play (4-for-4 gets 5x, 3-for-4 gets 1.5x).
Tony Pollard more than 68.5 rushing yards
Cowboys vs. Giants, 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX)
In the two games since their bye week, the Cowboys have turned to a pass-heavy approach, and as a result, Dak Prescott put up some big numbers against the Rams and Eagles.
Dallas can’t afford to abandon the run completely, and a home matchup against the Giants seems like a great time to get the ground game going again.
When these teams met in Week 1, Pollard had 14 carries for 70 yards. It was his first of three straight games with at least 70 yards on the ground.
The Cowboys should have no issue creating running lanes in this game, as the Giants are 28th in DVOA against the run and have allowed the third-most rushing yards to running backs this season.
Sam LaPorta more than 52.5 receiving yards
Lions at Chargers, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)
The Lions are coming off of a bye week and now head to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers.
A lot has been made about the indoor-outdoor splits for Jared Goff in his career, but the issues outside a dome are really more about bad weather than anything else.
There should be no problems on Sunday with 80 degrees and sun forecast.
Goff is also very good against zone coverage, and the Chargers play a ton of it.
LaPorta is bucking the trend of tight ends struggling in their rookie season. He’s currently fourth at his position in receptions and fifth in receiving yards at 54.3 per game.
This matchup certainly sets up well for him, as the Chargers have allowed the third-most receiving yards to tight ends this season.
Mark Andrews + Lamar Jackson more than 0.5 touchdowns (rushing + receiving)
Ravens vs. Browns, 1 p.m. ET (FOX)
This might sound crazy, but eventually Gus Edwards is not going to score every touchdown for the Ravens. The Ravens running back has six rushing touchdowns in the last three games alone.
A difficult matchup against the Browns could force the Ravens to mix it up a bit when they get down in the red zone.
I like this projection for a couple of reasons.
We have two outs here – Andrews can catch a touchdown (he has six touchdowns in eight games) or Jackson can run in a touchdown (he has five rushing touchdowns in nine games).
Even though the Browns defense is stout, the Ravens still have a team total of 22.5 points.
Betting on the NFL?
Kenneth Walker more than 0.5 touchdowns (passing + rushing + receiving)
Seahawks vs. Commanders, 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX)
Walker has not scored a touchdown in any of his last three games.
This is a bit of a surprise given his ability to find the end zone in the early part of the season. Even without scoring in Seattle’s last three games, Walker has six touchdowns on the season.
This week he has a home matchup against the Commanders, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
They are worse against the pass than the run, but all we need for this pick is a single touchdown of any kind.
The Seahawks should be able to move the ball easily, and we know they love to feed Walker once they get down near the goal line. Look for the running back to find paydirt against Washington.
