Olivia Culpo shared a sweet postgame moment with fiancé Christian McCaffrey on Sunday after his 49ers punched their ticket to Super Bowl 2024 with an NFC Championship win over the Lions.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum, 31, could be seen cozying up to the star running back, 27, in a new photo she shared on her Instagram Stories from the 49ers’ locker room, where they were joined by tight end George Kittle and his wife, Claire.
“You deserve it all Christian,” Culpo gushed in an Instagram post Monday. “I love you so so much.”
McCaffrey rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns in San Francisco’s thrilling 34-31 comeback victory over Detroit to advance to his first Super Bowl.
“Watching the love of your life live out his dreams is the best feeling in the world,” the post read.
The three-time Pro Bowler, who announced his engagement to Culpo in April 2023, is in his first full season with the 49ers after being traded by the Panthers before the October 2022 deadline.
He lauded teammate Brock Purdy after Sunday’s win as the second-year quarterback rallied to erase a 24-7 first-half deficit.
“All he’s done since he’s been here is play at an elite level,” McCaffrey said. “Everything starts with him. We’re lucky he’s our quarterback. He takes a lot of heat for absolutely no reason.”
Purdy went 20-for-31 in Sunday’s championship contest, throwing for 267 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed for 48 yards.
The 49ers will now travel to Las Vegas, where they’ll face the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11.
The game will be a rematch of Super Bowl 2020, when Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earned his first championship title with a 31-20 win over San Francisco.
“It’s been a long year to get to this point, and we got it done today. It was hard at the beginning, but the character we have in our team, the type of guys we have, we can’t wait to get to Vegas, man,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
Culpo is just as excited, posting an Instagram video with future mother-in-law Lisa McCaffrey that read, “Mom we’re going to Vegas!!!!”
McCaffrey and Culpo have been together since 2019.
