Pope Francis has taken part in an annual pilgrimage to Lac Ste. Anne in Canada as part of his “apology tour”, meeting thousands of Indigenous Canadians.
It follows a historic address yesterday where he apologised for generations of abuse at Catholic residential schools across the country.
