Renee Gracie has revealed the next big move in her motorsport career.

The former Supercars driver-turned adult entertainer returned to racing six years after she first hopped out of the car.

The two-time Bathurst 1000 driver won the Trophy Series in her Audi R8 LMS in the GT World Challenge Australia series.

While her victory came in the class for older, early model cars she has now confirmed she’s set to take a major step forward.

Gracie confirmed she’s taking part in the second division of the championship at the Adelaide 500 in two weeks time.

The adult entertainer will get behind the wheel of a brand new Audi R8 in an event that will see all competitors compete in equal machinery.

It will be the biggest chance to see where she stacks up against fellow pro-am drivers in the division.

“I got the championship. I got some good results. I was happy to put that to the side and I didn’t think one more extra race was really gonna change anything,” she said to WWOS.

“I was really happy with how everything had played out over the course of the year that I was ready to get in a new car when the opportunity obviously came about.

“It was a really good feeling to know that there’s an opportunity and someone’s willing to let me run in a new car.”

Gracie returned to motorsport earlier in the year having not competed since 2016 and gave up her motorsport dream completely several years ago as her career took a wild turn towards adult entertainment.

The switch to joining adult subscription website OnlyFans paid off for Gracie.

She claimed to have earned more than $500,000 in one month in 2020.

Gracie, who retired from the sport at the end of 2017 due to a lack of funding, used her earnings from her adult website to fund a racing team.

“I started planning a return to the sport in 2021, which is when I started getting serious, talking to people and discovering what was possible,” Gracie told the GT World Challenge Australia website.

“The first indication was that there were challenges to find the support within the industry to make it work, so we took our time to plan and get the ideal program together.”

“I was very strategic with who I worked with and who I wanted to deal with on my comeback.”

“Some opportunities that presented were right and some were wrong, but the stars have aligned to pull all this together.”

“Everything has worked and fallen into place and I’m really happy with everyone I am working with and who has been part of this journey.”

“It was proof to me that yes, this was the time to get back into racing.”
