Celeb-fave artist Ashley Longshore claimed she’d been “abused” by United Airlines staff — because a flight attendant told her to keep her pup inside its carrier during a jaunt to New Orleans.

Longshore, a favorite of stars like Blake Lively and Salma Hayek whose art goes for up to $10 million, took to Instagram with tears streaming from her puffy eyes after she was chided for taking her Brussels Griffon dog out to give it water.

“@United your flight attendant just made me shove and smash my dog under the seat and threatened me if I removed her or gave her water during a 3 hour flight! This is abusive!!!! I am so upset! I am sobbing!” she wrote in a since-deleted July 1 post.

“@united….. this is abusive and cruel. To tell me i can not give her water!!!!!!! To call the captain and threaten to kick me off the plane because i am sobbing…… Does anyone know what i can do here???? “

She continued: “This is absolutely CRUEL!!! @United this is BULLSH-T!!!!!!!! I have never made a rant like this on social media but this is my dog!!!! I am very upset,” the Alabama-born painter and sculptor vented in the caption, including the hashtag “#animalabuse.”

The post amassed 974 comments and 6,914 “likes” in the first two hours it was online.

A United spokesperson said a flight attendant aboard the Newark to New Orleans flight asked Longshore to follow their rules for traveling with pets.

“Our crew reminded the customer of our pet in cabin policy, which requires the carrier to remain closed,” the spokesperson said.

Longshore did not return messages.
