Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Wednesday held a press conference to provide updates on the deadly elementary school shooting.
At least 19 children and 2 adults were killed on Tuesday after 18-year-old Salvador Ramos opened fired at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
Ramos was involved in a shootout with law enforcement and is now deceased.
According to Governor Abbott, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos posted 3 status updates to his Facebook page warning of the attacks shortly before killing 21 people and shooting his grandmother in the face.

30 minutes before the shootings, he wrote the following:
– “I’m going to shoot my grandmother.”
– “I shot my grandmother.”
– “I’m going to shoot an elementary school.”

According to reports, Ramos’ grandmother is still alive and in critical condition.
Ramos also posted photos to Instagram before he carried out the deadly shooting.
