Three questions for the Nets’ second half which begins on Thursday:

1. How does Kevin Ollie do?

Regardless of any fear over extending yet another interim so soon after firing Jacque Vaughn, Ollie is expected to get a legitimate look in the summer.

Can he make enough positive changes to the offense, defense and rotations to put himself in the mix for the permanent job?

2. Can the Nets stop their downward spiral?

Nets interim coach Kevin Ollie is expected to get an extended look by the team in the offseason, too. Michael Nagle for the New York Post

They’ve dropped 23 of 31, including a 50-point embarrassment in their last game that saw Mikal Bridges voice his displeasure.

They need to fix the vibe to attract free agents and keep their own, e.g., Nic Claxton.

3. Can Ben Simmons finally stay healthy?

They’re just 15-27 without him and a solid .500 with him.

But incessant injuries have limited him to just 12 games before the All-Star break and make him the biggest X factor the rest of the way.
