TikTok sensation Britney Joy has been identified as a victim in a car crash that also killed her mother while the pair was traveling to a Juneteenth celebration in Texas.

The 35-year-old, whose real name was Britney Murphy, had just left her sister Tiffany Smith Cofield’s home with her mother 60-year-old Sherie Smith when the horror crash took place, ABC13 reports.

“There will never be a time when I won’t miss my mother and my sister. They were my best friends. They were everything,” Cofield told the outlet.

“It looked like her car and everybody, when I was walking up, said a mom and daughter died and I knew they had left and knew the only mom and daughter would be my mom and sister.’

Houston police said the social media sensation was behind the wheel when a truck hit the vehicle she and her mother were traveling in.

An investigation is still ongoing, according to ABC13.

Murphy, who found social media fame by posting comedy skits and vlogs, shared a chilling final TikTok video on the morning of her death.

Britney’s TikTok account saw her go from 4,000 followers to a whopping 400,000 in the space of four months.

“I was so proud of her,” her sister told the outlet.

Britney’s tragic death comes just days after another popular TikTok star, Carl Eiswerth, was killed in a car crash on June 13.

He was 35.

His mother, Janet, told TMZ that Eiswerth, sitting in the passenger seat, was driving in a car with a friend when their car was struck by another vehicle in an intersection.

Prior to his death, the content creator had racked up a following of nearly 500,000 on TikTok, where he regularly posted humorous clips of himself as well as dancing videos.
