Everything is bigger in Texas, including the Cowboys’ recruitment plans for Odell Beckham Jr.

The Cowboys will meet with the 30-year-old wide receiver on Monday as he concludes his mini free-agency tour that also included stops with the Giants and Bills. When Beckham does touch down in Dallas, he’ll not only spend time with team brass but he’ll be treated to floor seats for Monday night’s Mavericks game against the Suns, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who has been vocal about wanting to add Beckham into the fold, will meet with the Pro Bowler on Tuesday, along with Dallas’ leadership group.

Dallas has arguably been the most aggressive in the pursuit of Beckham’s services, with team owner Jerry Jones stating in November he’d like to see the receiver rocking silver and blue.

“Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor,” Jones said during a radio appearance on 105.3 “The Fan.”

“I know the Cowboys star on that helmet when he puts it on, could look pretty good.”

Though the clock is ticking as to where Beckham will land, and when, Glazer noted Sunday how the three teams in the mix “are making the decision based on the medical departments cause Odell’s not really willing to work out for any of these teams at this point.”

Beckham, who was part of the Rams’ championship roster last season, tore his ACL in February’s Super Bowl win over the Bengals.

Beckham kicked off his team visits last Thursday with the Giants, who drafted him 12th overall in 2014. Giants receiver Sterling Shepard, who is a close friend of Beckham’s, spoke Friday about what a reunion in New York could potentially mean.

“I told him, ‘It would be a special thing if you come back here. The city would be happy about that, and it would be like old times,” Shepard said. “He was like, ‘You’re dang right about that.’”

In addition to Shepard, Bills linebacker Von Miller has played a heavy role in recruiting pal Beckham to Western New York.
