Aaron Judge’s Yankees and Justin Verlander’s Astros are facing off against each other in the ALCS yet again.

This will be the teams’ third time taking on each other for the AL crown in the last six seasons after the two slugged it out in 2017 and 2019.

What makes this rivalry especially juicy though is that the Astros bested the Yankees both times.

To advance to the ALCS, the Yankees won a postponed ALDS Game 5 against the Cleveland Guardians in heroic fashion behind the bats of Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge who both homered, while starting pitcher Nestor Cortes hurled five sparkling innings of one-run ball.
