In Year 1 of the Jordan Love era, the Packers took a monster leap just halfway through the 2023 season.

They’re poised to do it again in his sophomore season as QB1 in Green Bay.

After opening last season 3-6, the Packers would finish the season 6-2, en route to a 9-8 record and an NFC wild card berth, taking the momentum into the postseason.

The Packers would upset the Cowboys in the first round before nearly pulling off an even bigger upset against the 49ers before falling in a 24-21 thriller.

Despite all they showed in the second half and postseason, Love and Co. remain well outside the inner circle of Super Bowl contenders in the eyes of oddsmakers.

The Packers are +1900 (DraftKings Sportsbook) to win the 2025 Lombardi Trophy, giving NFL bettors a great opportunity to wager on this young team to take another leap.

Green Bay added safety Xavier McKinney to shore up their pass coverage and running back Josh Jacobs as a younger replacement for Aaron Jones, but the biggest improvement may come from the players already on the roster.

Take Love’s receiving corp, which features four talented wideouts all 25 years old or younger in Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks.

Their offensive line is also among the youngest in the NFL, leaving plenty of room for growth in 2024.

The defense also has the chance to be in the top half of the league or better after bringing in McKinney and investing a ton of draft capital on that side of the ball.

And with Matt LaFleur, one of the top coaches in the NFL, on the sideline, don’t be shocked if the Packers are the last team standing, even if it seems a bit early for this group.

The play: Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl (+1900).
