Eric Braeden, who has played Victor Newman on the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless” for more than 40 years, announced Friday he is being treated for cancer.

“I’m a little under the weather, but not really much. I work out, but reduced, in a reduced way,” Braeden, 82, revealed in a 13-minute Facebook video.

Braeden said a urologist discovered some “high-grade” cancerous cells while examining his bladder. He shared that he had been suffering prostate issues while recuperating from knee surgery.

The Emmy-winning performer — who also appeared in “Titanic,” as John Jacob Astor IV, and the 2018 heist thriller “Den of Thieves” — said he has been able to continue acting on “Y&R” while undergoing six weeks of immunotherapy treatments.

“I’m happy to be able to go to work,” he confessed. “That, I enjoy. It distracts me. I love acting. I love knowing that I entertain people.”

He vowed he “will lick this.”

“This bastard ain’t going to get me. I’m going to get it,” he added. “I’ll be in top form again soon.”

Braeden recently made headlines for slamming actress Eva Longoria for her “derogatory remarks” recalling her time on “The Young and the Restless” while being interviewed on CNN’s “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?”

“You simply weren’t good enough to survive the pressures of this medium!” Braeden tweeted last month of Longoria, 48, who starred on the soap opera from 2001 to 2003 before landing on “Desperate Housewives.”
